Sandra Bertulucci

If you are Paraguayan, have contracted a marriage abroad and wish to homologate it in the country, below I will tell you what to do.

Remember that this step is necessary before you can apply for your cédula as a married woman and later, your spouse can obtain the Paraguayan cédula.

What is needed?

  • Marriage Certificate legalized by the Paraguayan consulate in the country of origin (for countries subscribed to the Hague Convention, only the apostille stamp is required).
  • Legalization of the marriage certificate by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay (only if it bears the seal of the Paraguayan consulate of the country of origin).
  • Translation (if necessary)
  • Photocopy of civil identity card of the contracting parties
  • Certificate of life and residence of one of the contracting parties
  • Nota dirigida al director del Registro Civil de las Personas solicitando la inscripción.

Si deseas que te ayudemos con los trámites, ¡Lo hacemos con gusto! Por favor escríbenos a info@gestoriaenparaguay.com.py
